We live in a world of insecurity. All too often, the innocent are accused while the guilty walk free; right is confused with wrong, and good is looked upon as evil. Morals are lost; all too often replaced by careless behaviours with troubled results. Nations are restless, governments are corrupt, and economies are crumbling. 

But there is one constant in a world roiling with confusion, and that is the Savior of mankind, even Jesus Christ. One may wonder, 'where is peace?' Where has solace eluded in this world where anguish weighs heavily? Where do we collapse into loving arms that will not let us down? The answers all refer only to Christ. 

For it was only Jesus Christ who passed through that same fire and felt the pain experienced by so many each day. He stands beside each of us, ready to catch us when we fall, willing to carry us when have not the strength for one more step, and yearning for us to turn to Him and allow Him in our lives.

Wherever you may be; whomever you are, I implore you, take a moment to think of Jesus Christ. He gave His life for you. If all you can spare is a passing thought, it is better than no thought at all. He is deserving of our love, our attention, our honor, and much more.

       I have a voice.

       I have something to share. 

       My voice is not heard by ears, rather by the heart. To get my thoughts understood, they must be written. I am not articulate, nor do I wish to pretend to make that claim. I only hope that through the written word, perhaps I might formulate the whispers that come to my heart. Words alone I believe are fragile as well as inadequate. They can be misunderstood and misconstrued, twisted and turned around, tossed about uselessly, used to cause pain, or manipulated to make accusations. However, when combined with the right Spirit, words can be powerful and effective, precise and loving, uplifting and hopeful, and grant peace as well as freedom. 

       One Voice to share hope. 

       One Voice to give light. 

       One Voice to testify of the Living Christ.

       I am only One Voice.

       But I am One Voice.

Jesus Declares: I Am the Light of the World, the Truth Shall Make You Free

Christ taught us to follow him.  Even though life may be challenging at times, hold to the light which is Jesus Christ.  Through Him, we can be set free of all that binds us.

Charity Never Faileth

 Charity is a rare commodity in the world today.  Hopefully by passing this along, I can help reignite Christlike love.

None other has had such a profound effect upon the world as Jesus Christ.  His unconditional love is unmatched yet saturates the fiber of each person's soul whether or not they realize it.

Angels among us by Alabama

With all the troubles around us today, I find comfort in knowing that we are watched over by divine intervention.  I truly believe we are surrounded by angels, sent here to be available for whenever we are willing to accept their help.

The red horizon of the morn,

spreads abroad and adorns,

Poems

If I perish, I perish.

My entire life I have struggle with fears of one kind or another... fear of what others may think, fear of failure.....fear of success.  But I admire Esther in that she faced a magnificent challenge with tremendous courage.  With possible death as a consequence, Esther chose to save her people rather than herself.  In Esther 4:16 she coined the famous phrase, "If I perish, I perish."  Even with the knowledge that she could die, she chose what she knew was right.

John 13:34 - Love One Another

In all His wisdom, Christ gave us two main commandments.  The first one, found in Exodus 20:3 states, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."  In my perspective, to act upon this commandment would be a show of love and respect to our God.  The three following commandments, no graven images, keeping the Sabbath day holy, and not taking the name of the Lord in vain, are all directly hinged upon obedience to the first.  The remaining 6 commandments all relate to another commandment given to us in John 13:34 which states, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."  Here it clearly shows us the expectation that our Savior has for us.  Christ is the greatest example of love possible as He laid down His own life to save one such as mine.  If we follow this commandment of loving one another, that would embrace the remaining commandments that we received through Moses.  If we loved our neighbor, our family, or the passing stranger on the street, we would honor our parents, we would not kill, commit adultery, steal, lie, or covet what others have.
